My life. It´s a pretty good life if you ask me. I have had some rough edges in it. Like when I was three I thought I could fly so when I went to Bill's Fun Farm. (It really was not fun there.) where I used to live in Hamden, Connecticut. I saw this big hill of hay. So I started to climb to the top. Once I got to the top of the hill of hay I jumped off the hill of hay. I landed on my left arm and broke a bone right next to my shoulder. That is when I saw Midnight.

A little brown horse. Almost like a pony. That is when my life changed. I started to do horse riding. I still do horse riding. My horse is still Midnight. Anyway, my name is Molly. I´m 11 years old and live in Ocean City New Jersey. I go to Anne Hardwick Middle School. It's named after some famous Coast Guard woman. My dad owns a pizza place called Zeletoni’s Pizza place on the Ocean City boardwalk. By the way it is called Zelitoni’s pizza place because my last name is Zeletoni.

    I have a 5 year old sister named Cleo. When Cleo was born my smile must have been as big as a rainbow. My eyes sparkled like the Caribbean Ocean. Also my eyes were as bright as the sun. When I saw Cleo for the first time, she was quiet,gentle and very cute. But now that’s she's five, she is like a bull in a china shop.

Also I have 3 best friends. My best friend’s names are Brooke,Nikki and Gia. We always hang out. The spot where we always talk is in a tree in my backyard. Also Brooke, Nikki and Gia go horse riding together. My horse is Midnight, Brooke’s horse is Blossom, Nikki’s horse is Sunshine, and Gia’s horse is Rosie. Now since you know about me let me tell you the story. It started at horse riding...

‘’Hey! You want to come over my house later?’’ I asked Brooke, Nikki and Gia.

“Sure!’’ they all yelled back as I started to slow down Midnight.

Soon enough dirt was flying everywhere and everybody's horse was stopped.

“My dad is already here so just jump in the car,’’ I told them.

“I call shotgun!’’ Nikki shouted out from behind me.

“Fine you can have shotgun,’’ I peeped with a sigh.

Once we got home Brooke, Nikki and Gia stayed for an hour and then they went home. After I did my homework. (By the way, today is Friday. so I got an A+ on all my 3 tests.) It was time for dinner. For dinner we had steak, pasta and apple slices.

“Molly,’’ my dad started to say, “I have something to tell you.’’

     “Ya what is it?’’ I asked with surprise.

“I got a contract. About Midnight,’’ my dad said quietly.

    ‘’Again,what is it?’’ I asked pretty loudly.

“It’s about keeping Midnight,’’ my dad began to say,’’ We can’t afford it. The pizza place is not going so well.’’

    ‘’Did you sign the contract?’’ I asked as I was trying to hold back tears.

    ‘’No. Of course not!’’ my dad said as patting my back. After I heard that I put my plate in the sink, ran up to my room, jumped on my bed and began to cry.

    By Wednesday Brooke, Nikki, Gia and I could not think of anything to do about raising money to keep Midnight. Right after school Brooke,NIkki,Gia and I were sitting in the tree that is in my backyard.

“What are we going to do?’’ I said sadly.

‘’How about we start a babysitters club!’’ suggested Nikki.

“I already babysit Nikki! For three dollars per hour!’’ I said pretty loudly.

‘’Then I got nothin’,’’ Nikki said.

‘’Well how much money do you have?’’ asked Gia.

“I just started babysitting the Zachmen boys so I only have sixty-six dollars counting birthday money,”’ I said with a sigh.

“Brooke, Nikki, Gia your moms are here!’’ I heard my mom yell from the patio.

‘’We’re coming!’’ I yelled from the tree. Once Brooke,Nikki and Gia went home we had dinner. I had Kraft macaroni n cheese,a banana and a chocolate chip cookie.

‘’So,’’ my dad started to say, “we have to sign the paperwork about Midnight. We only have two more weeks!’’ he finished saying.

“I.. I know we only have two more weeks… but I’ll think of something,’’ I said sadly.

‘’Okay, Bud. How about you go do your homework fast and then we will go out for ice cream. Sound like a plan?” my dad asked me.

I answered quickly,’’ Yes!’’.

On Friday Brooke,Nikki,Gia and I went to horse riding practice. When I got on Midnight I did not feel all too good. My cheeks were red. I had a thousand butterflies in my stomach. I did not know at all why I felt like this. At first I thought it was because my dad wasn’t here yet. But then I knew what it was. MIdnight. I started to pet Midnight’s silky smooth fur then I got off of Midnight, grabbed my phone out off my bag, and called my dad to come pick me up.

Once I got home I went up into the tree that Brooke,NIkki, Gia and I always talk in. About ten minutes later Brooke, NIkki and Gia were in the tree with me.

‘’Why did you leave horse riding early?” asked Nikki.

“I did not feel too good,” I peeped.

‘’Oh. It’s okay. We are always here for you,’’ Gia said with a sigh. About a minute later Cleo showed up in the tree.

Of course my little sister has to ruin our talks.

‘’What are you talking about?” Cleo asked.

‘’Nothing,” I answered quickly.

‘’Can I sit with you guys?’’ Cleo asked with the puppy dog eyes.

‘’Sure!’’ Brooke hollered. Brooke is always the one who wants to include Cleo.

‘’Okay!” Cleo yelled.

‘’Wait I have an idea!!!!!’’ I screamed.

‘’Meet me here tomorrow at ten!!!!!’’ I screamed again.

As soon as I got up the next morning I got dressed, ate breakfast and went into the tree. As soon as Brooke, NIkki and Gia got there I started to tell them my idea.

‘’So this is my idea,’’ I started to say,’’let’s host a horse riding event!!!!!’’ I blurted out very loudly.

‘’I love that idea!’’ Brooke yelled.

‘’Me too! It is awesome!!!’’ Gia screamed.

‘’My dad has a bunch of wood. He can build some hurdles!!” Nikki explained.

‘’Okay. Go ask your dad if you can start building,” I said.

“Got it!’’ Nikki replied.

‘’My mom owns the field down the street. We can have the event there!’’ Gia said.

‘’That’s the perfect place! Go ask your mom if we can use it,’’ I told Gia.

‘’Okay!’’ she responded.

‘’Brooke, do you want to help me with posters and decorations?’’ I asked.

‘’Of course I do!!!’’ she yelled.

‘’Well let’s get started!” I screamed

About an hour later Brooke and I have finished 2 banners, 3 posters and a lot of gift bags. Later on we were done with all the decoration stuff. When we were done with everything we went inside and went to my laptop. We designed a ticket for the people to buy. Once all the tickets were printed we walked down the street to the field. I saw Gia and her mom getting tables and chairs out of the field house. Then when I turned around I saw Nikki and her dad getting the hurdles out of her dad's truck.

‘’Let’s go help Nikki get the hurdles out of the truck while her dad gets the decorations we made,’’’ I told Brooke.

‘’Okay,’’ Brooke replied.

Once everything was set up Brooke,Nikki, Gia and I hopped on our bikes and went to tell the whole neighborhood about the event. Soon enough we almost told the whole town about the event. About an hour later everything was set up and people started to arrive. Soon enough almost the whole town was there.

Later on Brooke,Nikki, Gia and I had to get are horse riding gear on and get on our horses for the show. The show was amazing! Midnight did so good. He jumped over every hurdle, ran very fast and jumped over the highest hurdle. But as soon as Brooke,Nikki, Gia and I were done with the event we took all the money, hopped Nikki's dad’s shiny red truck and went to my house.

“Start counting the money already!’’ Nikki yelled at me.

“I am, I am!’’ I remarked back.

Once I was done counting all the money I told everybody the total amount of money we earned,’’We earned 275 dollars!!!!!’’ I screamed at the top of my lungs.

“Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!’’we all screamed like psychos.

“That’s enough for 2 and a half years,’’ Brooke exclaimed.

“Well I guess I’m keeping Midnight!!!’’ I yelled.

“Make that 375 dollars!!!!!” my dad yelled from behind me.

“The pizza place was packed today so I grabbed some money for you,’’ he told me happily.

The next day I went to go say hi to Midnight. “ Hey buddy! You did great yesterday at the event,” I peeped,“Maybe we can do it again!’’

So that is the story.  I hoped you enjoyed it, but it’s over so move along people and shut the book. I’m kidding. There's just one more thing that I have to tell you. You know that first I was happy because everything was fine,then I was sad because I thought I lost Midnight but then…I’m not gonna tell you yet but if you ever think you can fly and you see a big hill of hay, jump off it. There may be a surprise waiting for you. Now I will tell you. But then… my life changed again.
