Cancer

What people need to know is that cancer is a horrible disease. Last year my mom had colon cancer and after that she had stage 3 chemo. Cancer is a horrible disease because you have to get surgery and then you have to do chemo for a long time, plus the medicine at chemo tastes horrible.

When my mom had cancer she had to get surgery in her stomach because your colon is in your stomach so they had to cut her large intestine. They had to do it because part of her intestine was yucky. My mom was strong because at chemo some people lost their hair like my mom’s friend, but my mom didn’t!

So now every 3-6 months my mom has to get a ct scan to see if she has cancer again. So far my mom doesn’t have cancer again. When she did chemo the medicine had some side effects so when she came home sometimes she would feel lightheaded or nauseous so they gave her a pillow to put on her stomach.

All of this is so important because so many people die from cancer some of them die because they 

smoke, but usually it just happens like rain happens. So that is why it is important to find a cure for 

cancer.
