The Paper Bag Princess
In the story The Paper Bag Princess, by Robert Munsch, Elizabeth is caring. One example from The text that shows this is, “ Elizabeth decided to chase the dragon and get Ronald back.” This shows that she is caring because she rescues Ronald after the Dragon burned down her castle and dragons can be very scary.
Another example from the text that shows Elizabeth is caring is when she makes the dragon tired so she can rescue Ronald without the dragon catching her. “When he got back he was tired and went straight to sleep.” This shows she was caring because she kept on trying.
A third example is when Elizabeth yells in the dragon's ear because dragons love sleep and she wanted to save Ronald. “She lifted up the dragon’s ear and put her head right inside. She said as loud as she could ‘hey dragon!’” She rescued Ronald. This shows she was caring because she put herself at risk to save Ronald.
All these examples show Elizabeth is caring because she saved Ronald from the dragon.
