The Woods
The woods are a great experience to witness, mainly because you're surrounded by animals, it’s beautiful serene feel, and the constantly shifting surroundings. The great diversity of wildlife makes for an alert feeling searching for new creatures. The beautiful seasonal, greenery makes your eyes sting from the intensity. The four seasons bring many hardships to the inhabitants of the woods, making for a great feeling when they accomplish the hardships. I love it when I see a young squirrel after accomplishing his first winter hardship. The woods are nature at its best. With it’s expansive amount of animals, all around beauty, and constant changes, that’s why I love it.
The first reason the woods are a great experience is the animals. Animals muster great ability to survive, a pleasurable experience to watch. The animals thrive and compete and always spark curiosity. You can always count on them for a thrill. For instance, when a snake captured my attention by giving off the slightest rustle. The snake slithered through the leaves, giving off a faint sound. Catching my gaze, it followed a dark figure, that comfortably meandered onward. The mood changed once I began to pursue it. Once spotted, it flew through the dense bush like a bird in flight. Then it slipped through a hole, the chase over, I turned back.
The second reason the woods are a great experience is because of the beauty and natural look. Although the woods are not all about aesthetics. The woods create a look that you want to see. This can make for relaxation. This also makes you want to know what other woods look like, especially in other seasons. A walk in the woods inspires many because of how it is enjoyable. It makes you want to come back. The way your senses react makes your mind ablaze with curiosity. The stunning beauty truly makes the woods a place of happiness.
The third reason the woods are a great experience to witness is the constantly shifting climate and surroundings. With season colors varying, it always makes you want to peer around every tree, nook, and crevice. The differences make you want to see every seasons turnout. Also the animal's behavior changes. In fall, the animals become competitive. In winter they are mostly dormant and in spring, greenery makes for foraging. In summer, the heat makes most nocturnal. I once watched two squirrels battle it out for a few nuts. The fall tree’s leaves drifted down. Interrupted by a high pitched chirp from above. Two squirrels bounded through the tree top’s in hot pursuit of one another. The one fleeing had bulging cheeks. They chased until out of sight.
The woods are a great place, that bring out the beauty of life. The four seasons, animals, and scenery all stimulate imagination.Through it’s stunning beauty, you can resolve problems that trouble you. The woods feature the true beauty of life through the wildlife and vegetation. Nature relaxes your senses. The woods can entrance you and draw you closer. The woods are a great experience to witness because of the animals, beauty, and shifting surroundings.
