When I Got a Carlotta

I was coming from my mom’s eyebrow salon, and my mom called my grandma. I asked, “Did you get the dog?”  But my grandma said no. I really wanted you to get the dog. “Why did you not get the dog? “ “Can you please get the dog? “

After I got home, I saw a dog! l said to my grandma how did you get the dog? You said you won’t get a dog for me. But I was so happy that I gave my Grandma a big hug she changed her mind. Her name is Carlotta my Grandma said. So I took Carlotta outside and played fetch with it for a very long time. I then took the Carlotta for a walk on the street but I stayed close to my house so my mom and grandma could still see me.  I decided to show the dog the  swing set, which has a playhouse in it, so I carried Carlotta into the playhouse and we sat together inside. I later took the dog inside my house and, we both watched TV together on the couch. I had lots of fun and I was so excited that I finally got a dog, which I have always wanted for a very long time.

Then I took her to my room and played with  Carlotta by having her chase me around. I later wanted to see if my cat, Callie and Carlotta got along, but it didn’t work. My cat just ran away with her tail all puffy and her hair stood up. Carlotta wasn’t scared, she was running after my cat and smelling her, she wanted to be friends with her but Callie was a scaredy cat and wasn’t ready to be friends.

I ran down stairs and carried Callie back upstairs to give it another try, but she just jumped into a hole in my couch. I didn´t know that Callie had a secret hiding place! I got my cat out somehow with a few scratches and I took her back downstairs and decided that Callie and Carlotta weren’t ready to be nice to each other.
