Essay on Brave Irene

In the book Brave Irene, Irene takes a dress though a snowstorm to
the duchess and faces a heavy snowstorm and faces many challenges to get to the duchess. Throughout the book, the author shows that Irene has courage.
Irene has courage because she walked through the snow storm and when the wind took the box she kept going. She knew there was no point of going and she wanted to go home she pushed with all her strength and  she kept going this is why Irene has courage. In the text it said Irene didn’t let go and she yelled at the wind and said, “It is my mother’s work.” This part shows that Irene is brave and has courage.
A second  reason is when Irene is brave is when she  sprained her ankle and she totally know it was pointless to keep going and she thought that she would never see her moms face again she kept going. In the text it said, “Irene didn't stop going until she was there.” This shows that Irene has courage and she is brave.
Another reason is when Irene is almost there and then she sees that she is on a big hill and she has the box and she uses it as a sled and she crashes and  she thinks she will freeze to death and never see her moms face again. She gets up and keeps going. In the text it said, “Why don’t freeze to  death and never see ma’s face that smelled like fresh baked bread,” but she kept going. This shows that she has courage.
All this evidence supports that Irene has courage. Throughout the book, the author shows that Irene has courage.
