Brave Irene and The Giving Tree

Irene, from Brave Irene and the tree from The Giving Tree are selfless. They both did stuff for others not thinking about themselves.
There are lots of ways that Irene is selfless. One way is she went out in a blizzard risking her life for her mom. Her mom didn't want her to go because it was a big box and long way to the palace but Irene wanted to do it for her mother. Another reason is the wind was saying go home, Irene was scared but she kept on going. She wasn’t thinking about herself she was thinking are about her mother. One more reason is twisted her ankle and kept on going. She also got buried in snow and she popped out and continued her journey to the palace.

There are a lot of ways that the tree is selfless. One way I know she is selfless is she only cared about the boy’s happiness. Another reason is tree gave the boy parts of her body like her trunk, apples, and branches. She wasn’t thinking about herself she was thinking about the boy. My final piece of evidence is she played with the boy. The boy would climb up her trunk and swing off her branches. She could’ve been doing something else but she choose to play with the boy.

These are the reason I think Irene from Brave Irene and the tree from The Giving Tree are selfless. They have many similarities but they have some differences. One difference is Irene was thought about giving up but the tree never did. One thing we could learn from them is we should care about others not just yourself.
