MINECRAFT

                     

              One of the reasons I think MINECRAFT is awesome is because I can go to the overworld, the nether and the end. It is a really cool game full of fantasy, building and mining fun.You can explore for miles and it never ends.

The first reason I like Minecraft is because I can play in the overworld.  In the overworld, once it becomes dark the monsters or mobs appear and there are 8 monsters.  You must build a shelter before it gets dark in order to be safe from most of the monsters or mobs. If you go to bed during the night, it speeds up the evening so you can go back safely to the day and begin mining or building again. During the day, it is safe to be outside of your shelter because some of the monsters will burn from the sunlight. One time when I was playing in the over world I was building a house and lightning struck it. If you choose to take on a monster, you can use weapons that you have crafted from mining in the ground.  Some weapons include bows and arrows, swords and traps.  If you are unsuccessful in killing a monster, they will kill you.   All your armor, weapons, and items you have collected from mining falls on the ground once you are killed.  You can then re-spawn and go back to where you were killed and collect all your items.

The second reason I think minecraft is awesome is because I can play in the nether. To get to the Nether dimension you must make a portal out of obsidian and have flint and steel to light it in order to pass through the portal. In the Nether dimension there are five different kinds of monsters and a boss monster.  The boss monster in the Nether is called a Wither which has three heads.  You can kill a Wither with an enchanted bow and arrow, which is crafted from an enchantment table. In the Nether ,the blocks for building are called Netherrack and Nether wart.  If you are lucky enough sometimes you can get a Nether fortress where there are Blazes and sometimes Zombie Pigmen.  A Blaze will drop a blaze rod or blaze powder which is useful for potions. If you hit a Zombie Pigman they might drop an enchanted golden sword which is used for attacking other monsters.  Also, if you hit a Zombie Pigman, all the other Zombie Pigman will attack you!

The final reason I think minecraft is awesome is because I get to play in the end. The last dimension in Minecraft is called the End.  To get to the End you need 12 End Portal blocks which you find in mine shafts. You also need an Enderpearl and Blaze Powder which will help create the portal.  Once you arrive in the End dimension, you need to take out the beacons which generate the Ender Dragon’s health, by using a bow and arrow.  The Ender Dragon can fly as high as the sky in the End.   The dragon can shoot acid and fireballs at you.  The only way to get out of the End is to kill the Ender Dragon.  The only way to defeat the dragon is by using a bow and arrow along with a few hits with your sword.   Once the dragon is defeated, you will see a portal made of bedrock and you can jump through it to leave the End.

The reasons I think MINECRAFT is awesome are because I can play in the Overworld,The Nether and the end. Minecraft is so cool it can go for miles. It's a really cool game full of fun and adventure.
