Bff
Twist, turn, “ow that hurt,”as my chocolate hair spun. My head dropped as the same color bows that matched my shoes went in. The size 11 sneakers of mine matched the wooden stairs, as I hopped down them wondering. What will she be like will she be my best friend for all eternity? Creek, my mom snatched my backpack and trailed behind me. As my tiny shoes bobbed from one beige stair to another. Swoosh my head turned and spotted the swing in our last room until the garage. It’s the bottom floor of my creative house, the basement. The black Land Rover was sitting there ready to go. I got in the car and my mom froze as I plopped my brown pants in the soft car seat. Next, she did what she hated most of all, buckling me in. That means when ever I had a friend over she was more and more pouty.
“Woah, Eden Hill has so many sharp turns.”
A short time later about a half hour
"Have a good day Tate”, my mom’s voice got quieter.
“Good Morning” my first teacher said as I glared at her shiny gold shoes and brown swaying skirt. Her burnt marshmallow shirt that had sparkles right below the collar and her brown eyes with hair slightly less dark than mine. I went straight to the indoor sandbox.
A sweet smell filled the air as I peered up and saw a slightly shorter girl than me I broke out in a giant toothy smile. By the time I saw her face, I had a tingly feeling that this friendship would last a lifetime.
“Hi, I’m Tate, what's your name?”
“Emily my mom told me all about you”
“Ok listen, here’s the point, I wanted to know,do you want to be best friends for all eternity?”
“Shure” Emily grinned
We enjoyed the playground and the turtle shaped sandbox. Then, on the swooshing swing.
Next, I asked “what are you doing after pre-school?”
“Nothing why”?
“ Do you want to go to the bigger kid playground”?
“Yes.”
All my questions answers rang true, that is how our long, still running, friendship all started.
THE END
