MY DOG CHEESY

He wanders across the yard like a guard dog,waiting for some action. The yard is swarming with flies and only two hiding squirrels. It is a hot, summer, day in mid July. He spots his target. WHOOSH! As fast as wind he runs across the yard. He stops,a moment of silence has arrived. The squirrel has run up the tree. There’s another squirrel that escaped. He sometimes can be very farcical. My dog Cheesy is awesome because he loves to chase squirrels, is energetic,and is very athletic.

My first reason  that Cheesy is awesome is that he loves to chase squirrels. Every time we let him out, the first thing he will do is chase some squirrels. He’s come so close but has never caught one. Even if the squirrel goes up a tree he will just sit right next to the tree trunk. A couple weeks ago there was a squirrel in our yard. Suddenly, Cheesy looked like he was going kill the thing for crying out loud.The only problem is that they always go behind the invisible fence. It’s seems to be there only safe place. That is why Cheesy loves to chase squirrels.

The second reason Cheesy is awesome is that he is so energetic. Every time someone comes through the door he will jump on that person. One time,he even knocked me over. Also, whenever my family or I grab his toy, he will play tug-of-war until either you or the dog let’s go. He doesn’t usually win but he gives a good fight. Lastly, he runs around the house really fast. I’m always afraid that he is going knock me over. That is why he is so energetic.

The last reason that Cheesy is awesome is that he is very athletic.My mom has taught him to jump from one rock wall to the other. He has never missed and I hope he never does. Also, he jumps over my other rock wall. It is pretty impressive. Finally, he catches his toy in the air when we throw it up. He usually catches it but he hasn’t a couple times. That is why Cheesy is very athletic.

Cheesy has lots of other good qualities. For instance, he licks your face a lot and eats really fast. One time, when Cheesy licked my face, it was as wet as the ocean. I could just go on and on. He is the best dog ever. He loves to chase squirrels, is so energetic,and is athletic which makes Cheesy awesome. 

P.S He is so, so, so cute.
