Ahhh! Ouch.

¨Where are we going?¨ I ask my dad.

My dad has a friend who I call Uncle Arthur.

He took us out on his boat. He stops the boat, anchors it, and we start jumping off.

A couple minutes later my dad jumped in and touched the bottom. It was 10 feet.  ”If you get me at least a grain of sand I will give you $5,” he says.

I was really scared if I was going to get a crab or something like that. My dad kept saying I wouldn’t.

Then my sister, Marin, did it so I did it too.

I dove down and grabbed a handful of sand and started to swim back up. I felt something move in my hand.  It tried to pinch me but I whipped it off just in time.

I came back up and still said, “Ahhhhhh...ouch,” even though it didn’t hurt at all.

Marin didn’t believe me but I did get a crab. So basically I spent half the time trying to convince her that I got a crab.

My dad said that he would give me 50 cents extra for each time I would do it. plus the 5 dollars.  I got scared again. I thought that I would get that crab again so I refused to do it.

Marin tried to convince me to do it but I did not.  Then Marin got annoying so I did it.

I dove down, grabbed a handful of sand and started back up.
This time with no crab.

“I get 20 dollars now!” I say.

“Where did that come from?” My dad asks.

“My Im-ag-i-nation!” I say sarcastically.

I thought 50 cents extra would be good because I got the crab but my dad said no and Stuck to it.

I took a break from swimming and and sat for about 5 minutes then jumped back in.

We started playing with the fenders and we tried to ride them like horses. Fenders are the things that stop the boat from hitting the dock. Then my mom jumped in and she tried doing it a bunch of times but finally she did it and stayed on for like a minute. Then my mom fell in because my dad started talking to her and she wasn’t paying attention to balancing and she fell in. We were all laughing.

It was time to go so we got back in the boat and drove back to the dock. Marin and I both had an apple and a juice box and finished it before we got to the dock.
We parked the boat and start getting off. “Thank you, ” My sister and I yell as we get off. I wasn’t paying attention and I almost fell in the brown gross water.
We walked up the dock and into the parking lot. We got into the car and drove away.
