If you are the kind of person who likes to walk around and learn new interesting facts, then you should go on a mansion tour! There are lots of mansions in Newport.

Mansions are big houses that costs a lot. Mansions are very cool because you can see what mansions looked like a long time ago. They usually have some very cool designs and stuff that is very cool to look at such as fancy beds and everything else you could possibly imagine. They have beautiful pictures. One mansion even has a picture hanging on the ceiling! If you go in the winter, the mansions are so pretty! They have lights and wreaths all over. They also have Christmas trees! There are a lot of different mansions you can choose from. The most famous mansion in Newport is the Breakers. There is a level of the house that you can’t tour because people from the Vanderbilt family still live there! The Vanderbilt family owned the Breakers in the 1800s. If you go to Newport a lot and you want to go on a mansion tour, you could go every time because there are so many mansions! This might be some of the reason why you want to go on a mansion tour!

There are also souvenir shops in the mansions, so if you wanted to go shopping and do a mansion tour, but mostly the mansion tour, this is a good idea for you. Souvenir means a little thing that you get from somewhere that reminds you of where you were or what you were doing. A souvenir shop is a shop that has souvenirs in them.
