Halloween

Me and my sister walked quickly down the bus aisle and got off the bus and then we zoomed down the walkway and into the house. I was very tired but very excited too. Tonight is Halloween. I couldn’t believe it. We quickly ran to our rooms to get our costumes on. I quickly wiggled into my costume and helped my sister get into hers.

I was a wicked witch and my sister was a pretty mermaid princess. I didn’t know what Shea was going to be though. My mom put a big bowl of candy out on the front steps. I really wanted a piece of candy and so did my sister but my mom said no. We went outside in the front yard while we waited for our friend Shea to come trick-or-treating with us. We had to wait a long time till he came.

When he finally came he said he was going to be a skeleton  or a jellyfish but Shea’s dad would have to make the jellyfish. We played outside in the front yard until it was time to go trick or treating. We played tag and we took turns on the swings. We also rode on scooters and bikes. We climbed trees. We were able to climb one tree but it wasn’t easy. We played in the leaves. We threw them up in the air and watched them float down from the sky like snowflakes then landing on the ground.

I felt like we wouldn't go trick or treating at all it was taking so long.            
                
Finally it was time to go trick or treating. I was super excited. I have been waiting all year to go trick or treating. First we went alone to the houses that are close to us. Then our dad took us on the small loop and when we were just finishing the loop Shea’s dad came with the jellyfish he made. Then he took us on the big loop. I was super excited. I have been waiting all year to go trick or treating. We all rushed to get are trick-or-treating bags. I was hot, but excited too.

We stopped at every single house and are rode is really big so we got a lot of candy. When we got home my trick-or-treating bag was really full. When we got inside we watched TV and ate our candy while our mom gave out the rest of it. When we were all finished with our candy we went back outside to play until Shea went home.

When he went home we got ready for bed then I wished and hoped that Halloween will come sooner than I think it will. So be careful because a ghost might be haunting your house and a witch might be looking through your window right this second. But right now Halloween is over at least for me.
