Beary Jeter
There once was a bear named Beary Jeter. He was 30 years old. He was nice and he liked hitting homeruns. One day he hit a foul ball. That is a strike. And that was his second strike for the day. If he got one more he was out. Then he hit a ground ball. It was not a good hit. He ran to first, but he was out. He did not like that. He went back to the dugout. He was very sad. He said, “Next time I am going to hit a homerun!” He was happy. The next time he went up to bat, he had a good hit. It was a homerun! The Yankees win 5-2 and Beary Jeter was so happy!
