Jamaica
The weather is perfect for a beach day everyday in Jamaica. Mmmm! These foods and drinks are great. Slowly, as I sip my drink and step onto the soft sand of the beach, I say to myself… “what a lovely day.” The beaches are so beautiful; like a whole garden of flowers. I love Jamaica because the weather is amazing, the food is delicious and especially I love the nice and cool water of the beaches!
The first reason why I love Jamaica is because it is always hot! Jamaica is as hot as an oven! Even if it is winter, it is still in the 80s. In the summer… it is super, super, super HOT! Last time I was in Jamaica, I went during April break. Good thing I did not go in the summer because my cousins in Jamaica told us it was CRAZY hot!! The reason why it is so hot in Jamaica is because it is so close to the equator. Since it is so hot you can play outside, go to the beach and eat ice cream everyday! A fun fact about Jamaica is that you can ride in the back of open trucks!
A second reason why I love Jamaica is because the foods are delicious! Some foods are ackee and saltfish, bammy, johnny cakes, festival, guava, jerk chicken, mangoes, patties and Jamaican X-mas pudding. My personal favorite out of all of those is the patty. A patty has a crusty outside and any kind of meat on the inside yummy stuff. My mom sometimes makes jerk chicken when she has parties. Everyone LOVES it. It’s so GOOD!!! I love jerk chicken, too!
The last reason why I love Jamaica is because the beaches are amazing. The water is so blue and the sand is... kind of soft, and the water is warm. That’s good because since it is so hot in Jamaica, that means it is possible to go to the beach every day. You could possibly eat ice cream every day, too. The blue water is as blue as pool water. When I go to Jamaica, I hardly go to the beach because when we go there we visit our cousins and there are no beaches close to them.
The drink that I just had was amazing. The food was spectacular. I just came back from the beach. Now I am going to the airport to leave the nice warm weather of Jamaica. I am going back to the ice cold winter days. I love Jamaica because it is always warm, the foods are great and especially I love the nice cool water of the beaches.
