Personal Essay

Many people don't know him but I know that everyone should have a friend like Ben.  He likes what I like, we have a new adventure every time we play, and most of all he goes in your shoes and feels how you feel. That's why Ben is the best friend in the whole wide world.

Everyone should have a friend like Ben because...we both love the same things. Another reason that it is so great that Ben loves the same stuff that I love because we never argue about what we play . We both love swimming, tag, Legos and much much more.  It is so much fun with him. One time we brought our Lego ships to each other’s house and made bases and had a little war.  Then our guys teamed up against the bad guys. It was so much fun! For example, we love the same stuff when we play Legos and play outside.

Another reason why everyone should have a friend like Ben is because we have a  new adventures every time we play.  One time we ran into the woods and  found the archer tower and climbed up it. It was so high!!! Then we found a stick and made a bridge over a river with it but the bridge (stick) snapped and we fell in. Some reasons that we have a new adventure every time we play are that we find new things, we make  cool things, and last but not least we explore new things.

Although everyone should have a friend like Ben because he goes in your shoes and feels how you feel.That reminds me of when he was playing with all of his friends and having so much fun with them. But then he saw me all alone and stop playing with his friends and walked over to me and asked.

“ Do you want to play with me or should I play with you?”

I asked.

“Can I play with you?”

“Sure you can.” Ben said.

We had the best game of tag in the whole world.    For example he goes in my shoes and feels how I feel is he knows when I’m happy he knows when I’m sad and he knows how to cheer me up.

Everyone should have a friend like Ben. This is true because every time we play we have a new adventure, he likes what I like, and most of all he goes in your shoes and feels how you feel.That's why everyone should have a friend like Ben.
