Introduction
In the world of diving and swimming there are a few things to know. Stands or tricks are things you will need to learn to impress your friends when you go diving! But my favorite thing is to have fun!
Swim Gear
Are you confused about what you should wear when you go to the beach? There are a few things you will need. There is a mask and goggles. Either one is great. Goggles have no nose hole so it may be uncomfortable for some people, because with a nose hole you have something to cover your nose so the water doesn't get in. Another piece of gear is flippers. Flippers are good for at the beach, but at a pool not as much. Flippers help you get around in heavy or thick waters. It also gives you a stronger kick.If you did not have flippers it’s harder to get around and, wears your legs out. Another helpful swimming piece you may need is a wet suit. Wet suits help you stay warm in cold waters. You also may need a air tank when you go diving. This tool allows you to have air while underwater. It is connected to a mouthpiece that gives you air when you breath in it. Divers have to wear a air tank unless they are a free diver. A free diver is a person who can hold there breath for more than a minute while diving. A free diver trains really hard and travels a lot where there are deep seas that are practice areas. These people may or may not have coaches. The coaches have a lot of experience with diving. There are many different things you could use when you plan a trip to the beach.
Fantastic Flips
However, there are going to be a few steps you will need to know before you start flipping. Flips in water are just like on a trampoline or just naturally doing that. One, to do a flip underwater, you will need to have enough air to flip. First put your hands on the ground and try to flip over. That is one way to learn how to get ready or get used to flipping over. There are many stands/tricks that you can practice. Sometimes in the Olympics on a swim team or swim meet, people will dive straight into a flip and do other tricks related. If you want to be an Olympic swimmer you better get practicing!
Two,the steps it will take to flip are easy. Try to wear a mask or goggles so you can see where you are positioning yourself.Otherwise you won’t know where you ‘re putting yourself or where you will end up.
Third, what you may need to have when you flip, would be goggles mask, and swim shoes in case of rough ground. This rough ground could be on the surface of the sand, or rocks in the ocean or, the hard surface of a pool.
Fourth, what ways you can do stands, well there are many. There are different positions and stands.
Fifth, you can do your stands/tricks under water safely. Be aware of where you are position yourself. Also make sure you have enough space.
Outdoor vs Indoor
Do you prefer being in warm water indoors or, being in colder waters with sand on your feet. Both are great choices! To start with, when you are outdoor swimming you are outdoors.Indoors you have warm water and not as much people at a pool than there would be at a beach. However, outdoor swimming like at a beach there are fish and things you can catch like clams or crabs. After swimming, water can sometimes be cold but in some beaches like in the the Caribbean you will find warmer weather and warmer waters.Which do you prefer?
