My Birthday

My birthday is today!!!!!

I go off and mark my calendar while dancing around the  room

I have a cheerful, big smile on my face

I can smell the party food

I can hear the loud beating music

As I walk downstairs.............

I see nothing

I hear nothing

And now I don't smell anything

I wonder, is it my birthday?

So I walk Into the kitchen...I see a wrecked card and a popped balloon

I hear yelling in the living room

My birthday is a back-stabbing needle

My birthday is like a hospital emergency room.
