Crunch, Crunch, Crunch

So one day I went to take a walk. I asked my friend if he wanted to go, and he said yes. I asked my mom and she said yes. But, she said, “Don’t go too far.” So we said, “Okay.”

I wanted to go to my favorite spot. It’s a hill about a 25 feet climb up to the top. It was fun. As we started to walk back we heard,  “Crunch, crunch” in the leaves. We were getting sketchy because we did not see anything. But then, “CRUNCH, CRUNCH, CRUNCH…” and a random person just popped out of a bush and started running toward us!!!

So, we started SPRINTING toward the house. I was so scared! Then we stopped and hid. We looked around and only woods were surrounding us. We were lost!

I didn’t have my phone, so I couldn’t call my mom.  Instead,  I said, “This might be a bad idea, but let’s head back to the hill.”

We tried to find the way back. We finally made it back to the hill after an hour of walking and running. Later, we made it back to the house where I got grounded.

It was very scary because I was afraid he would follow us.  My friend did sleep over since I wasn’t grounded yet that night. I couldn’t fall asleep and it was the same for my friend. We were awake, playing Call of Duty when we heard someone at the door.

I quickly grabbed my two baseball bats and then ran back to my room. Then, I heard the person opening  the door!! We quickly ran out the back door and went to my neighbor’s house.

At that point no one could sleep. Luckily, he didn’t see where we went. The following morning we went in the house with caution. No one was there, but the house was wrecked!!!! And, my computer and phone were missing. From that day on I never slept in the house again…..
