Excerpt From:
            Behind the Scenes in Jaws

Chapter 1: Ways the Movie Almost Failed
Well first you're probably wondering what JAWS is. It's a movie about a killer shark that terrorized a town. People got terrified. Director Steven Spielberg  had a copy of the novel Jaws and he read it and thought I should make a movie about this. The movie was created in 1974. He is the director of many other movies like E.T and Indiana Jones. The Producer helped him. Well there are ways the movie almost failed. One of the ways the movie Jaws almost failed is major big problems like the boat sank while all the cameras were on it. The people that had the cameras and stuff were on the boat, but the boat was programmed to sink but not at that time and at that time it started to sink. They weren't so happy they were very mad that the boat was sinking. Another thing is that they had a robotic shark. But there was a problem with the shark. The shark would not work and they tried and tried to make it work. It didn't work until the end kind of and it started working and the walkie talkies wore like ¨Krrrrr Krrrr the shark is working repeat the shark is working!”Another problem they had was The sailboats that would come. They filmed it in Martha's Vineyard now it's a popular place because that’s where they filmed it. People would come and sailboats would be in where they would be filming so they went out early.
