The Paperbag Princess

In the book The Paper Bag Princess by Robert Munsch, a princess named Elizabeth wanted to marry a prince named Ronald but one day a dragon burnt Elizabeth’s clothes, broke her castle, and took Ronald away but Elizabeth decided to chase the dragon and get Ronald back. The author shows that Elizabeth is brave.
One way I know Elizabeth is brave is when Elizabeth tricked the dragon into making himself very tired. For example Elizabeth asked the dragon “Is it true that you can burn ten forests? Yes said the dragon,” so he burnt fifty forests. Then he burnt one hundred forests. Then he didn’t have enough fire left  to burn a meatball. This part shows Elizabeth is brave enough to make a dragon lose all of his fire.
Another way I know Elizabeth is brave is when Elizabeth tricked the dragon into making himself even more tired that he can’t even speak for example Elizabeth asked the dragon “Is it true that you can go around the world in just ten seconds?” Yes said the dragon,so he went around the world in five seconds and then twenty. Then he couldn't even speak. This part shows that Elizabeth has the courage to outsmart a big and scary dragon.
A final way I know Elizabeth is brave is when the dragon was unconscious and Elizabeth screamed three times in the dragon’s ear! Like this,"hey dragon, Hey Dragon, HEY DRAGON.”This part shows that Elizabeth has the bravery and courage to scream in a huge, scary, and mean dragon’s ear!

All of this evidence proves that  Elizabeth is courageous, brave, and trustworthy. The author shows the theme of bravery and courage.
