My Dog, Maya

Sometimes in life you realize that your pet is what makes you happy every day and that they are a part of your family.  My dog is a part of my family because she always wants to be included, she cheers me up, and most of all, she keeps me company.

One reason that my dog Maya is a part of my family is that she always wants to be included. For example, she always wants to included because she follows us everywhere. Also she always wants to be included because she sleeps when we sleep. Another example is we were all on the couch watching TV and Maya climbed up a chair and jumped right in the middle of us and sat down. That is how she always wants to be included.     

Another reason that my dog is a part of my family is she cheers me up. For example, my dog cheers me up because I know she will always love me. Also she cheers me up because she is always willing to play fetch the stick with me. One time, I was mad because my cousins said I was too little to play with them. But then Maya came over and played tug-of-war with my pinkie. That is how she cheers me up.
Although my dog is a part of my family because she always wants to be included and because she cheers me up, it is especially true that my dog is a  part of my family because she keeps me company. For example, she keeps me company when I watch TV. Also, she keeps me company when I go for a walk. Once I was home alone with my big sister and I was kind of lonely. but then my dog kept me company till my mom came.

I realize that all pets are part of their family like mine. This makes me think that other people should care about their pets. This is important because pets care about their owners. I love my pet so you should too.
