What Are Legos?

People have been using legos for a long time. A lego is a building block for kids to play with and build things.  For example you could make a fire truck, a house, a tree or anything that you think of.  Legos are made out of plastic and have many different colors.  Legos have round bumps on the top of them and hollow circles on the bottom so you can stack them up. You can use legos in many different ways. You can do manual building and you can do free building. You can  build anything you want if you are building free building. You have to follow the directions if you are doing manual building.

Skills You Need

When you build legos, one skill you need is to be patient. Legos take a long time to build and you need to take your time.  Also, if you are not patient, you might get mad and and break it by mistake. You also need to be very focused because if you are not you might mess up and have to go back. Also if you are not focused you can skip a part in the manual. Another skill you need is to be determined  even if the manual has a lot of pages keep building.Also if you mess up go back then keep building.  Those are some skills you should have to build a good lego.

5 Steps You Need To follow

Here are some things you need to do before you build lego. First you need to go to the store get the legos then bring them home and take them out of the package. Second set up a big area. When you build having a big area helps you spread out the pieces to find the pieces you need. Third think of what you want to build like a car,boat or a house. Forth start building your legos and make sure you put all the legos in the right place to make the lego you want to build.  This way, you don't have to go back and take it apart to fix it. Finally you can use it and play with it or maybe set  it up. Those are some steps you need to build a lego.

Free Building or manual building

There are similarities and differences of manual and free building legos. Some differences are is that you use a book in manual legos and you do what you want to do in free building. Another different thing about them is in manual building you have to use specific lego but in free building you can use any sort of legos. A similarity is they both are fun to play with when you finish. Another similarity is both you need to work hard on. That is the  similarities and differences of free building legos and manual building legos.

Glossary

Similarities-  the state or fact of being similar.: "the similarity of symptoms makes them hard to diagnose"

Differences-  a point or way in which people or things are not the same.: "the differences between men and women".

Free building-   when you build something you come up with.

Manual buildings-  when you build something out of a book or copy something out of a manual.

Build-  construct (something, typically something large) by putting parts or material together over a period of time.:  

Steps-  the order that someone does something in.

Lego- a construction toy consisting of interlocking plastic building blocks..

Patient-  able to accept or tolerate delays, problems, or suffering without becoming annoyed or anxious

Determined-  having made a firm decision and being resolved not to change it.

Focused-  to have a big attention to.
