The Wallpaper

John was 7 years old and his birthday was on August 14. It was a few days away from now. When it was finally his birthday he asked for wallpaper with chickens on it.

When he got it he opened the window and looked at the stars and said, “My dream finally came true, and I have wonderful wallpaper.” Then he forgot to close the window. When he went to sleep the chicken wallpaper came alive and flew out the window. When he woke up he couldn’t find the wallpaper so he told his parents that he lost the paper. They looked it in the yard in the neighborhood but didn’t find it. So they called the police and said, “I had wallpaper on my room wall and they had chickens on it but I cannot find it. So the police looked and found the chickens but not the wallpaper. So they gave the chickens to a farm and bought new wallpaper. Jack had a big smile on his face and he was very happy.
