What Happened at the
Candyland Library?
Once upon a time in Candyland there was a librarian named Ms. Candy. She loved books. She loved them so much that she had a candy star to represent the books. She thought the star would represent the books because she loved the star so much and she loved the books so much. She had a friend named Sugarplum who also liked books very much, but didn’t have anything to represent them. “I don’t have anything to represent my books,” said Sugarplum to Ms. Candy.

One night when the library was closing Ms. Candy went home. When she came back the next day she realized her star was gone. She went to the FBI and told them “my star is missing.” “We will look for it,”said the FBI. One day in the library Ms. Candy thought she knew who took her star, so she went back to the FBI. That night Ms. Candy took the FBI to Sugarplum’s house. When they all looked in the window they saw Sugarplum holding the candy star. When they knocked on the door, Sugarplum opened it, and the FBI shouted: “Ms. Sugarplum, you are under arrest!” When Sugarplum saw Ms. Candy she shouted, “You will pay for this Candy” as the FBI walked her into the Police car. When Ms. Candy was home she hoped that nobody would steal her star again. Then she went to sleep.
