Some people think that single gender schools are a good idea, but I, on the other hand, do not.   The reasons I think this is not a good idea is it may be too difficult a learning environment, it may not help kids when they are older to get along with each other and, if kids move, it may be hard to adjust to a boy/girl classroom.

First, I think this is bad because it may be too difficult of a learning environment if there are all boys in one class.  To begin with, it would be hard for the students to learn because it would be too loud and people could not concentrate. In addition, the teacher could get headaches every day and the teacher would keep saying to be quiet to the students. Finally,if there are too  many boys it might get super competitive and then they won’t get along.That is one reason why I believe single gender schools are bad.

Another example why single gender schools are bad is that it may not help kids when they are older to get along with girls and boys. For example, when they are older they would yell at each other. Secondly, it would be difficult  to work together. A third example is that  it would be hard to get married. Lastly,boys and girls brains work differently so it would also be hard to work together.

The last reason that single gender schools are BAD is that if students are in a single gender school and then they move,it may be hard for them to adjust. For example, the boy or girl would be nervous. Another example, is that the student might not talk and the teacher might not think that kid is that smart when he really is. Furthermore, if a student just moved to a new class that is not single gender, they might be afraid to work or talk with other students of the opposite gender. Then he might get in trouble for not helping because he does not know that person. One last reason is if you are a girl you are lucky because girls are more likeable by teachers.

As you can see, the reasons why I think single gender schools are bad for children are 

because it could be a bad learning environment, it may not help kids when they are older to 

get along with others and it may be difficult to adjust if they move.
