I realize that when I am with Shelby I feel good. Shelby is my best friend in the whole world. Shelby is the best dog ever because she is really smart and really gentle but most of all she has many special talents.

One reason that Shelby is the best dog ever is because she is really smart. One day I was on the couch, maybe about a month or two ago, and she walked over to the door and kicked it.  That usually means that she wants to go out.) But she had just gone out, so I didn't know what she wanted. I said to sit down, but she didn’t.  She kicked the door again, but this time she nudged her ball.  Then I thought, “Hey, that must mean she wants to play.” AND SHE DID THAT TO BE ABLE TO GO OUTSIDE TO PLAY! Another example of how smart Shelby is is she can tell if you are mad or sad. She can also tell if you want to play or if you just want to be left alone.

Another reason that Shelby is the best dog ever is that she has many special talents. For example she is really really fast. She can run like 20 miles per hour AT LEAST. If you think that's cool, you should hear this. One time I brought her outside and she started running so fast all around the house.  I wanted to run after her, but she was too fast! Another time I took her out and I brought her a toy, and when I threw it to her, she ran so fast after it!

Although she is really smart and she plays with me, Shelby is especially the best dog ever because she is really gentle. She will never bite you and she licks you all the time. Shelby is the best dog ever because the first day I got Shelby she jumped on me and licked me like crazy! She jumped and wagged her tail like a maniac!

Sometimes in life I couldn't imagine living without Shelby. She is so loyal and gentle. She is the best 

dog ever!
